REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) _ AcelRx Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ACRX) on Thursday reported a loss of $9.9 million in its fourth quarter.
The Redwood City, California-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents per share.
The drugmaker posted revenue of $740,000 in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $51.5 million, or $1.10 per share. Revenue was reported as $8 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $1.70. A year ago, they were trading at $3.10.
