NEW YORK (AP) — NEW YORK (AP) — Ambac Financial Group Inc. (AMBC) on Monday reported a loss of $112.6 million in its third quarter.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of $2.35 per share. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations and non-recurring costs, were 21 cents per share.
The bond insurer posted revenue of $66.6 million in the period.

- As part of the rebrand, the company's holding entity will operate as Octave Specialty Group, with the entities comprising its insurance distribution division rebranded as:
- Cirrata Group becomes Octave Partners, the company's acquisition division. Beat Capital Partners becomes Octave Ventures, its incubation division.
- The company's MGAs and its hybrid fronting carrier, Everspan Group, will continue to operate under their existing brands.
