Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $0.94 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.11 better than the S&P Capital IQ Consensus of $0.83; revenues rose 7.2% year/year to $669.63 mln vs the $664.17 mln S&P Capital IQ Consensus.

Co also announces it has authorized a new $1.1 billion share repurchase program, effective from November 1, 2018 through December 31, 2021, which is in addition to $124 mln remaining on its prior authorization.
