COPPELL, Texas (AP) _ The Container Store Group Inc. (TCS) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $3.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Coppell, Texas-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 10 cents per share.
The storage products retailer posted revenue of $224.5 million in the period.
Container Store expects full-year earnings in the range of 41 cents to 51 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $885 million to $895 million.
Container Store shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $10.06, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
